Every Covid-19 Commercial is Exactly the Same

I’ve seen this time and time again, especially in the design community. You have a couple of big names doing something and in a matter of days you’ll have a worldwide following doing exactly the very same thing.
In a matter of months everything, unavoidably, just looks the same (look no further than Dribbble).
Is this what’s happening here? Not sure, but if I was a betting person, I would say it’s a closely related phenomenon. Where you have creatives dying to emulate what the big name company has just done, as well as you have a client base looking forward to mimic what they consider to be a formula to success.
The end result is, not surprisingly, a cliché filled 2 minutes of air time.
